God’s Kids

This is the group for the kids that meets as part of Kaeo-Kerikeri Union Church Sunday Services. A free Bible based programme with DVD stories and activities is available every Sunday except school holidays and long weekends. 9.30 – 10.30am. All Welcome!

Kerikeri Girls Brigade

The 1st Kerikeri Girls’ Brigade Company makes its home in CORNERSTONE and meet 3.30-5.30pm on Thursdays during School Terms.

Girls’ Brigade is an international, interdenominational, Christian, uniformed organisation for all ages.   Its aim is to help girls discover the beauty of life and the boundless opportunities it has to offer.

GB endeavours to develop social, physical, educational, and spiritual growth so the girls are able to play a vital role in today’s society.   Based on Christian principles, the well-planned programme covers a wide variety of activities both indoor and outdoor.

Girls Brigade caters for all girls between the ages of 5 and 17 years old.

Special Company Events

Fathers’ Day Family BBQ

Around Fathers’ Day, we like to have a special event based around the fathers. In previous years we have gone down to Aranga Holiday Park and had a special BBQ for the Dads and men in our GB families.  This is a BBQ with a difference with games and cooking over an open fire.

Family Camp

Every 2nd year we take the girls and their families on a camp.  This is a fun-filled event with everyone welcome.

Area Events

These events are opportunities for girls to make friends with others from around Northland.

Area Church Parade

There is normally an Area Church Parade every second year followed by an afternoon of activities.

Section Events

Sometimes during the year there is an area get together for all the girls in a particular section, Junior, Senior, or Pioneers.   This may involve just a day activity or a sleepover/camp somewhere in the Northland area.
